Before you are allowed to drive a car, you first have to take an exam given by the Department of Vehicles or DMV. Windows 2000 is made up five core exams and 2 electives. Three of these will see how well you can work with this type of server while the other two will test your technical proficiency when it comes to design and implementation.

The exam is multiple choices, which has about 45 questions and will last 175 minutes. The passing mark is 700 and those who make it will be become certified Microsoft professionals.

Those who wish to take the MCSE certification exam are advised study hard. Given the huge demand, you can avail of boot camps that may be near where you live or online. The cost for the course is around $4,000 to $6,000 and usually lasts 2 weeks.

Aside from transportation, room and lodging, you will also be given all the review material needed in order for you to pass the MCSE certification exam. There will also be practice tests that will simulate the real thing so you won't be shocked come the big day.
